Do you ever bookmark a site with the intention of looking at it later?

Going through my bookmarks, I notice something. Several websites that I apparently bookmarked, with the intention of taking a look at them later. However, as it turns out, I never got around to doing it. Do you bookmark websites with the intention of looking at them in more detail when you have the time? Looking forward to reading your responses.

I always do that - especially with interesting stuff/jobs/universities. But I sometimes bookmark to many in one day, that I forget about them in time, and after a while I just discover them

i always do that especially when i craft. i generally look for pictures that i want to print from the computer and bookmark them. then, every so often, i go through the bookmarks and get rid of the links that are broken.

Yeah, a lot of those sites that I bookmark tend to not be around anymore. I always clean them up when I can but it does seem a lot of the time, some of them do slip through my notice. Hey its the same with me. I do bookmark some sites but then i forget them too. I will have to check out my bookmarks to see if there was something rather important that i missed out on.

That does seem to be a good thing to check out every month or so. I try to and remember, "oh yeah, I remember that site. Never got around to looking at it, might have to give it a look now." yeah .. i DO that thing a lot.. but loads of times i forgot abt those bookmarks.. thanx forr reminding.. i will chk out my bookmarks now :) .. Thanks a load for reminding me

Sure. I've bookmarked a lot of webpages especially those where I need to download something like ebooks. But lately, I haven't gotten around to looking at my bookmarks so my download queue has grown pretty long. Anyway, I have plans to use social bookmarking sites much more efficiently in the near future. I'm particularly interested in using them to increase traffic to my blogs. And I'm also interested in using them to manage or organize my research when composing articles to post. Right now, I'm testing one social bookmarking site, Diigo. But I have joined several more.
