Do you really make life long friends on mylot??

Just out of curiosity is why im asking this. I've read a few responses saying why they like mylot so much and a few said that they have made a good bit of friends online. are you in this position?

Mylot certainly is an excellent place to meet and make friends with very nice people from countries around the world. I have mad many friends, and they are so wonderful. But, it is disappointing some times that I don't see some of them come online any more. I do understand, ofcourse, that they get busy in their daily lives, and cound not devote time to come online.

I definitely think you can make good friends here on myLot. Not many friendships are strong enough to last a lifetime, but at least with myLot you won't get separated from your friends just because they move since you're already used to communicating long distance with them. On the other hand, people tend to come and go from virtual communities just like they do with real communities. I joined here years ago and most of the posters I remember from when I started aren't active any longer.

Yup, you definitely can make some real friends here. I met a lot of nice people at mylot during the months I was active here. And one friend I met was koalapengiun, another member here. We get along pretty well, so we still keep in touch even outside mylot. =)

Mylot has only been here for four years. So nobody can say that they have made a lifelong friends here yet. But I do hope all of us will!

well ..ya i have made quite a lot of good friends here.. but this is a virtual space.. nd u never kno the person onn the other side wil go away .. .so i believe if u meet somebody here .. unless and until u meet him for REAL. its hard to say u can become LIFE LONG friends.. anyways.. dats my opinion..

thanks for your comment. some mylotters already said that have met good friends online and they rather talk to their cyber friends on mylot than their real friend in real life. either way i was just curious.
