I am having a hard time for some reason on job interviews. I feel really nervous but I try not to act nervous. I haven't worked in so long and I am having a hard time finding work. Does anyone have advice for getting the job interview and also how to answer questions such as, "why do you want to work here?" The most obviously answer to me is BECAUSE I WANT TO MAKE MONEY but i guess you really can't say that. lol.

yeah, you really cannot say that. always think to answer the answers that the employers want to hear, and always in the company's interests. it's not really difficult to answer that kind of question as you just have to emphasize that you want to work because they need you and you need them. instead of talking about the money that you will get from them, how about focus on the skills and experience that you can contribute to the company and you can get from them. if you need more information about passing an interview, you can contact me, i can share some materials that will help you pass interviews.

Hi babaybunnii, well i will only advice you when you go for you interview, go prepared with what company you are attending, which company is that, what they offer, what are their services, what are the companies achivements, and study the part which company deals for. Secondly do not take into your head that you need that job badly, if do it will make you more nervous, just think you are going for just another local interview and it does not cost you much if you fail or pass. Trust me these things work, plus before going on for a bigger job try going for interviews in smaller companies which are not actually related to your career, just give the interviews, as you know they are not important for you, you will give your answers confidentally and considerably prepare for the bigger one. Best of luck!!

Be confidence for yourself and keep a smile when you have the interview. If you are asked why you want to work there, perhaps it is better to say I want to fulfill what I have learned for my career. I love China

Hi Babybunnii, Good day! It's normal to feel nervous during interviews. I still feel nervous even if I've been to a lot of interviews. First was when I applied in my current company. Next was when I applied to be part of our Correspondence Team. Lastly, was when I applied for a Supervisory position. I'm now next in line for a Managerial position and would be applying for that one and I bet I'd be so nervous again. So you see it's totally normal. However, we should not let it show to the person interviewing us. We should do something to control it so that we will sound confident when answering questions. I've been asked by the question, "Why do you want to work here?" a lot of times and always my answer was, "Because I'd want to be a part of a competitive company like yours. I'd also want to use, enhance and develop my skills while I'm contributing to the growth and development of your company." I hope my answer was able to help you a little with your dilemma. I'm wishing you well in your interviews. Have a nice day!

It is just natural to feel nervous during interviews and the interviewers know that. Just try to stay calm and answer to the best of your ability their questions. There are lots of websites which can help you with in preparing for job interviews. You can surf these and these sites are free. My advice: do not go there unprepared. Practice your answers to would-be questions and I am sure you'll get the job. good luck!

The person who is interviewing, ofcourse, has to do his job, and that is to select the right people for the company. I would say one of the reasons for that question "why do you want to work here ?" is to see if you know this company, what the company is doing, and if you fit with the activities of the company. He needs to make sure that the candidate is a perfect fit. When answering that question, one needs to be very specific too, not just in a general way. Good luck to you !

First impression last, put it in your mind that it is your first meeting with the interviewee, they will try to find out your way of communicating. At they same time the way your dress yourself. So prepare for those thing. Dress well and presentable. Put up a dress related to the job that you are applying for. Then try to be relax during your conversation.

Actually I've had and experienced a lot of job interviews and so far, I haven't failed a single interview. "Because I want to earn money" could actually be a good answer than "As long as the company needs my service" which is like the most common answer to that question. I think 6 out of 10 applicant's would answer that. Now, If I am going into a job interview and the interview would ask me that question, I think I'd answer; "I heard you guy's offer a very good amount of salary here, so I'm here. I just wanna earn a lot of money, I won't care if you guy's would have me to rob a bank or scam you'r clients. Just provide me the training. like I said, I just wanna make a lot of money baby!". Since, I haven't failed any job interviews maybe It's time to experience failing one.

you just like me ,i am also nervous ,but after several yeas of working experiences ,you will feel ok(now i am gradually accoustomed to this condition) ,don't worry about that as for the question"why do you want to wrok here", you can answer because your company has a good future ,a good culture environment, has more opportunities for employee and so on ,you should compliment them ,i think every company like these sentences, but you should control the extent now i am trying to find a new job not only for the salary but also for the self-development ,so ,good luck for us....
