How to get along with your officemates?

I personally feel its better to keep a professional distance from colleagues at office unless you already know them out of office too. Becasue you do not really know the people youwork with unless you have visited them at home or know their family personally. Being overfriendly or ignoring overtly will only lead to complication in official work, so its better to be nice and polite but professional.
