Which connection is the best for internet?

I have an ADSL internet connection. My friend has a MT connection....she says that MT is more rapid than any other connection. Some people uses internet directly from their phone connection which cost very expensive. According to you which one is the best?

i don't even know what an ADSL connection is,all i know is that i use a wireless modem with internet explorer
