How do you convince a person?

I was watching House MD and I saw how he convinced a kid to take drugs. First, House tried took some of the drug making the kid feel that its ok and then the kid followed what he did. By the way, the kid was autistic. This was a simple Monkey see monkey do, very simple but it works most of the time. How do you convince people? Do you do the same?

Friend it depends on the person who is going to convince the person. It is nothing but the talent how he/she going to convince the person. While going to convince a person then at least we should know the situation how exactly that person is then only it will be successfull other wise very hard to convince them.

Kids really are gullible by nature. you just show them something pleasing to their eyes and they will believe you, will agree with you and will be doing what you want them to do. Which makes it really dangerous.
I just convince people before to buy the brand that I am selling which is brand new cars by giving them a detailed benefits that they would have compared to the other brands. definitely the cost of our vehicles low compared to the other leading brands out there and they will also get the same value in purchasing a car. Just like kids, you lure them with the benefits that they will get after trying to convince them of what will they have after doing the thing that you are making them convinced.

So basically, its like a bribe in disguise. You give something for them to think so they will do what you want. That'll work.

Well, that's one way to convince someone. I'm not really good at convincing people. I just state what could be favorable to them and then hope it sticks.

I convince people wish sharing my experience. I don't like to give advices, so every time someone ask me, i share some real situation of my life and the end of it. So if the person is smart enough he can make his choice on his way. Also use some good facts and logic :) There are not many ways we can walk when we make something. We have only good and bad one. And if we know the difference, it depends on us what we will choose. Convincing is just little support and help :)
