Brakley Watling , new NewZiland opener scored his first fifty in oneday international in his debut match against Srilanka in the second match of the Micro Max cup 2010 at Dambulla. He is the 8 th Kiwi player to score 50 or more in their debut ..... After Nathan Astle NewZiland was looking for a consistent opener for their team....... I think they now got their man....... what you think...../????????

Bradley Watling did score the half century. But after that he immediately threw his wicket and left Kiwis in a bad position. I think we should not read too much into one performance. We need to see how he progresses from here on and how shapes up in the future. I would like to see him play a match winning knock like what Ross Taylor did in the first match before we can really consider him to be good enough at this level.

i am feeling sorry for williamson second match in a row for a duck. Hasnt had a good debut. newzealand tumble like nine pins.
