I recently had a chat with my best friend from Malaysia who took culinary course and she told me about one easy dessert recipe that require less than an hour to finish.
All you need is some milk, sugar and cornstarch to make milk pudding. Being a sweet tooth I was so excited making one that after we finished chatting late at night, I still haven't slept just to make some. I experimented with the proportions because I have less than fifty grams of cornstarch and it turned out great.
Here's how to do it:
Boil some fresh milk
In a seperate container, mix fresh milk and cornstarch
When the fresh milk boils add sugar then the milk with cornstarch
Mix it immediately so that the cornstarch won't build up bulks
When the cornstarch is cooked, remove from heat and cool it off
Place it in a shot glass or other cute glass containers for presentation
You can top it with fruits, biscuits and syrups
Actually, when we were chatting over the net, I didn't got the proportion so I experimented. Anyone who knows making milk pudding, I will highly appreciate knowing the proper proportions. And I'd like to know more about making milk pudding presentable like other toppings and how to mould it into cute shapes expensive restaurants have.
