New Rating System at TextBroker

I was pretty surprised when I was going over my writing stats and saw a bar chart grading my work and habits. It looks to be customer feedback as far as content, responsiveness and a couple of other factors. So far the ranges are average, good and excellent and one customer gave me an invite to write directly for him. If you have written for them in the past month, you can go to the 'assignments' tab, then 'statistics' and click on approved article. What do you think?

Interesting. I had never heard of this site before. After reading this discussion, I hopped on over to TextBroker to see what it was all about. This looks very promising! I just registered and submitted my sample text for rating. Now I am waiting for the rating. I am looking forward to submitting some articles once my rating is set. Thanks for bringing this site to my attention!

Hey Thorgrym, Since '06, I've worked for a few content cos. and TB is reliable and fair but they don't pay much.

Thanks for the heads-up. I am looking forward to exploring their system. As long as they are reliable, that is good enough for me to continue the pursuit. There is nothing worse than putting in some effort only to find that it was really a scam.

That's a good tool because it will help you gauge the quality of work you are submitting. Thus, it will push you to strive even better, creating quality works all the time.

Right, I noticed that my Marketing articles had better feedback than those on general keywords or topics.

I was just at Textbroker (wrote one quick article) but didn't see that. I haven't written anything for a few weeks, though, so maybe that's why. I should have time this next week to do more writing for them, so it may show up then.

Hey Peavey, One of my recent articles didn't have this evaluation(I average one a week for TB) so I guess it's up to the client.

I like the rating system, it is up to the client if they what to fill it in for you though. I've had some just write 'excellent' in comment section, then I've had others fill the categories in, and I think it really helps my writing. It helps me to understand what I'm good at, and what I need to improve.

I have had the same experience. I am only a level 3 though, so I am not sure if I am allowed to take direct orders. I don't always read the customer feedback, but I am always happy when it is graded highly. I wish I could get a couple of direct orders though because I think it would pay a it more.

I started at Level 2 and didn't get any Direct Orders until a few months into Level 4. Truthfully for me, there is not a lot of difference unless you have a specialty like Marketing. Sometimes, the "4" article requests have demanding clients and every so often, I just want to say to them 'Get real.'

As long as it does not become the next Helium, I think that is a good system. it gives you a feel of the market needs, and the feedbacks from the customer. I think writing for one customer is a good idea. You will get to know what he wants instead of guessing what to write.
