Do you sometimes feel like not going to church?

Sometimes it is like a drag going to church again. May be because you are going to hear the same thing. Most times it is the folks that you will meet after service that gives the impetus. Do you feel like that?

I think church is good for people because it gives them the opportunity to gather togather, fellowship and make friends. I think about going to church all of the time but it's difficult for me since I don't like to sit and listen to someone for more then a number of minutes. I don't think a person has to go to church to be a Christian. Also I don't think you have to be a believer to attend church either. Yes I see what you mean about church being a drag; that's why I don't go. And yes I feel as you do in your last statement about the impulse. I also think church is a form of entertainment for people. Nothing wrong with that!

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consder how to STIMULATE ONE ANOTHER TO LOVE AND GOOD DEEDS, NOT FORSAKING OUR OWN ASSEMBLING TOGETHER, as is the HABIT of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:23 - 25) You don't have to go to church to be a Christian, but you will not grow and God will not bless you if you forsake the assembly. If you know what's good for you and how to strengthen your relationship with the Lord, you will find a church that suits your needs and go there every week. If someone finds it boring, maybe they are in the wrong congregation. Or, maybe, they need a little more self discipline.

i believe everyone feels it i mean we are no different to others well i personally believe that the churches are built so for everyone so believers could come together and worship God but this is not His intention, He wants us to have a personal relationship with as if it is still between you and Him despite of your are many in the building

Actually, fellowship is very important, and God DOES want you to worship in a congregational setting as well as on your own. Hebrews 10:23 - 27 states: "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own ASSEMBLING TOGETHER, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."

When I woke up every sunday morning, I will always see to it that I will go to the church. However because of laziness sometimes, I think of not going to the church. But at the end I still manage to get dress and be prepared going to church. I guess its just our unconsciousness tells out not to go but really deep within us willing to attend the Holy Mass.

Hi there, If you don't feel like going to church because it's boring and doesn't encourage your faith and walk with God, perhaps it's time to find a new church. The Bible says that in the last days churches will slumber and not understand the urgency at hand. You need a church that will teach you Biblical truth with energy and passion, and encourage you in the faith.

Hi segungb I tend to look forward in going to church especially if I like the priest who is going to do the mass. I tend to see a lot of people I know and a way to know what is happening inside our village.
