is it true that after our new president ruled our country, prices go up?

I haven't read the news lately but is it true that commodities are rising its prices instead to go down? There's a rumor, I guess its just a rumor that MRT fare will be adding P10? Could u tell me more about this?

The last news I've heard is that there will be increase in MRT fare even the toll fee. But its not increasing everything, I guess and I am not sure but the gasoline is not yet increasing. But once the gasoline price will increase that's the only time all the commodities will increase as well.
