ReviewStream; why are my reviews rejected?

August 15, 2010 10:14am CST
After hearing about the site ReviewStream earlier today, i decided to try it as it sounded like a good way to earn some extra cash. However, upon submitting my first review(about a brand of conditioner i recently tried) it was immediately rejected. The site told me by review was not valuable to them, but did not explain why. I checked the FAQ to see why they would reject a review and it suggested that my grammar, spelling etc may be poor, or that the review may be vague or plagiarised. The review I submitted was none of these, at least not in relation to several other reviews i looked over on the site. I would appreciate if someone could give me a heads up on what may be the problem as the review was rejected immediately, without time for anybody to look at it. Birdie

I'll give you tips for writing on Review Stream: 1. Make sure your review is at least 250 words long. If it's not at least 250 words long they will reject it. 2. Make sure spelling and grammar are correct. 3. Make sure the review is mostly your opinion, don't get too detailed. Tell them what you like about whatever you're reviewing. 3. Accept the bulk rate, books, movies, tv shows and video games reviews will usually be accepted at the bulk rate. Higher end electronics, travel and other higher end categories will be paid at the full rate. Please PM me if you have any more questions or respond here, I've been paid by them three times and I figured out what works. I hope I can help you.

A right suggestion. Just try and see the result on Review Stream itself

I get quite a bit of money from them and I haven't had a lot of reviews rejected by them every since I figured out what they like.

The language of that site is very categorical and often it discourages you. Only elite reviewers may scrape through. Write the same review to Triond and see the outcome. You may get the better feedback

If reviewstream continues to refuse me i may well simply upload my review to triond instead, however, triond would likely pay less for such an article. I have been informed by other users of reviewstream that it is easy to use and the other articles i have seent o not appear to be "elite" but rather quite mediocre. Also there is the point that it took less than a second for my review to be rejected, so it seems to have nothing to do with my ability to review or write, which is why i am confused. Birdie -
