To love yourself. One of my roommates have a famous saying "525",and in chinese its partial tone means "i love myself".At first I can't accept for it means spending too much money on myself. But now it's almost a guideline to me. To love yourself is one kind of attitudes towards life. And it needs a diet plan, knowledge of nutrition, self-control,suprising endurance ,and so on.If you can do it, you will became healthier, and also a better person.

It is never never too late to eat healthy. I am over 50 years old and have started eating Vegan (Vegetarian without milk, cheese, eggs, meat). I feel like my body was made for this type of diet. I feel so happy inside eating this way. I have taken up walking and absolutely love it. Here is an area that most people do not address when trying to work on their health. Their thought life. After reading "The Biology of Belief" by Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D, I now understand that our thoughts alter our cells and DNA. Bruce Lipton is a cell biologist and takes the reader through the process of how this was discovered. The book is absolutely fascinating. There is also a couple of books by Dr. Caroline Leaf out of South Africa that documents what our thoughts do to our brain and ultimately to the rest of our body. Dr. Eric Braverman is another author that ties into this subject. He has written some fascinating information on the brain. When the brain comes in line with the body, wonderful things happen, and it all starts with our thought life.

I focus on the basics: diet and exercise! I don't take supplements as I am to get all the nutrition I need through the food I eat, which is the time-honored method. I definitely don't always live up to my own expectations, but I do some form of exercise every day (usually across 2 or 3 sessions) and I eat a wide variety of nutritious foods (well, within the scope of my vegetarian diet). You can't totally control whether you will be healthy, but I think it's important to do what you can.

I keep myself healthy with exercise and adequate sleep... (I kinda have problems sleeping well lately) with regards to eating, I do let myself go most of the times. Supplements are good and also vitamins. ^_^v

many factors affect our health. heredity is significant as genes play role in our health. Lifestyle also determines our health like our diet, smoking, drinking, sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise. drinking can lead to hypertension, peripheral neuropathy, liver dse, diabetes while smoking is the culprit for lung cancer and cardiovascular disease. we should drink enough water for our kidneys.
