does your computer make you want to throw it threw a window? mine does because it run slows sometimes and i don't have no viruses it says. do you have any suggestions what might be the problem with it? plese answer me back and have a nice day!

Slow computer may have these problems:
1.) Not enough memory installed on your computer. If you are using WIndows XP, 256MB or more is recommended DEPENDING on the programs or applications you use. On Windows Vista and 7, 1GB is recommended.
2.) You don't have enough free space left on your hard drive. Try removing any programs that you do not use to free up some space on your hard drive. You may also try running DISK CLEANUP to remove some temporary files on your hard drive.
3.) Your hard drive maybe FRAGMENTED. Constant file copying and erasing can cause file fragmentation. Installing and uninstalling software frequently can be a factor. Perform DISK DEFRAGMENT to improve system performance.
4.) Overheating. Your system maybe overheats which slows down your computer performance.

You say your pc runs slowly 'sometimes'. Does it mean it runs ok rest of the time. Slight observation on what programme slows down your pc is needed. Of course, the processor is the principal part that governs the speed. Then the speed is limited by the RAM if you are running more programmes simultaneously. If you have loaded more programmes the system files get configured to work all the programmes. While doing so sometimes some conflict could happen and the system slows down. Like this there can be some more reasons. Throwing out of window is definitely not the right solution! eh. Welcome to mylot.
