What Was the Most Special Moment During Your Summer?

There is some time left of the summer in Northern hemisphere. Have you experienced something special this year?
During Summer Solstice and midnight sun in our part of the world I was talking the first time to a myLot friend from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. During the following weeks we have become good friends and have spoken several times.
I am really happy for this new friendship!

Well, not bad..
My latest cat was an ex male and he was so nice and cuddly and followed me almost like a dog when we went out for a walk. He is in one of the photos in my profile.

Hello
This summer was boring for me. Only mosquitos, 1 beach for now and some relaxing days with friends. But i'm happy, because i'm with the man who i love the most, so it's o.k. for now :) I still miss walks out, but i hope some day we will have more of them

Time goes so fast so it can be hard to find the time to enjoy the nature. The most important is that we can be with those we love. Then everything else becomes good and beautiful.

Hi, Lakota12, it sounds great. Being with family can make us happy the rest of the time when we are away from them remembering the things we did together.

With a few days vacation, I took the opportunity to go down to the United States. It was good meeting with old friends, a sort of reunion since we had not seen each other for some years. Indeed, we had a very happy time talking about all the beautiful old days. One thing that was a bit unusual this year was the summer weather in some parts. It got really very hot, temperatures getting close to 100 degrees F. It was really very hot !

Sounds great.. We should have more reunions with old friends. It is so interesting to learn what has happened to them during the years and what they have learned about life.
I guess we here in Northern parts of the world had it much easier, only a few hot days maybe around 75F and now we have rather cool weather.
But no snow yet..

hi buenavida well since my son lost his job and we were evicted
a yr and a half ago, in the middle of june he met an old friend
'he had worked with twelve years ago and the moment this old friend
'heard myson had been out of work , he offered him a job. now Iam here in this tiresome retirement center fo the same period of time as when we wre evicted we were made homeless as he and I are our only family here. friends tried to help us but they could not let us stay too long in their own apartment as the manager got antsy too. so my son had me put here in this retirement center so I wou ld have a place to live until he could get a job and accumulate enough funds to get us back into an apartment.
He got government help to get into an apartment with three other men and now he is working we have some hopes for the future.
