For all the Catholics myLotters and those who believes in the 3 personification of God, do you make the sign of the cross everytime you pass by a church? I was brought up with a strong faith in God by my parents. I see my parents and other relatives make the sign of the cross everytime we pass by a church. So when i grew up i always wanted them to explain why they are doing such thing, but i never asked them anyway, i just made a rationale for myself :D I think they are doing it to ask God for guidance for a safe trip and blessed their day and that they may arrive safely in their destinations. They make the sign of the cross and pray silently since they can't stop by the church to just even light a candle.. I do make the sign of the cross and i do it just as I mentioned above. So do you make the sign of the cross when you get to pass by a church? What are your reason why you do so or not to do so?

i was born a catholic and i was converted to another religion when i was 12 years old...but still i studied in a catholic school until i graduated college..i have nothing against catholic because with my religion now.., we believe in the same God.., the only difference is we don't worship saints and idolatry.., when i was still a catholic i do make the sign of the cross at the beginning and end of every prayer... but now not anymore...

I see..I guess your new religion don't believe in the 3 personification of God. I understand that because I have read it in the Bible about worshiping others rather than God alone... Thanks for sharing
