Absense of Pain for now !

I woke up at about 4am , and by 4:30 realized I just was not going to get back to sleep. I knew that I had a lot to do today so I decided to get up . I started with cleaning my sewing room.I have been using it all summer and had never picked any thing up, so the floor was a real mess. It took me 21/2 or 3 hours before I was finished picking up and sweeping up . It was nice to get that job about the way . But what I really noticed was that I had cleaned for that long and I was not in "any kind of pain" . As recently as last summer if I had tried cleaning like that with sweeping and bending , my back would start hurting and my sciatic nerve would started giving me grief . In 2006, and 2007 I had long periods where I was in constant pain. the years 2008,2009 were better but I still could not do much of my own housework. This link will give you a history of my back pain http://chocolatequilts.wordpress.com/2010/08/18/history-of-back-pain/ So I am thankful today to be free of pain,no guarantees that it won't return mean while I will enjoy my good days. For those of you out there in pain, don't give up. there is always hope for relief.

What good news to hear you are not in pain. I guess all that exercise you are doing is working. A friend and myself have found out the more active we are the less pain we have. Well other then my fybro; but other pings and pangs do disappear when I am more active. Do you think this could be your reason for less pain? So glad to see you back at MyLot.
