Has anyone ever taken out a student loan from SallieMae? I'm going to MichiganTech University in Houghton in 2 days and need $6,000 by the 25th and i'm freaking out. I'm a freshman so this is my first time and i have no idea what's going on. I need a loan, and I got a letter from this SallieMae and want to hear some feedback. Thanks!

I currently owe Sallie mae well over 140 thousand for a four year education. It is not difficult to obtain as long as you are credit worthy and or have a credit worthy co-signer. The difficult part is paying them back. Good luck to you. I sse you are new so welcome - welcome to myLot

Hey thanks for the welcome! i like it here. Well we looked more into Sallie Mae, but we found out we could go through the government with a ParentPlus Direct loan, so that's we we did. Thanks for the advice though!
