Refreshing to come back to myLot...

August 18, 2010 6:44pm CST
Have been away for quite some time from the myLot site. Finding things interesting at the moment. But wonder how long the novelty will last. Working towards a $10 reward is not particularly rewarding here in England - that only translates to about £6.50 to £7 and with a loaf of bread often costing over £1 these days you can get the idea that the cost of living is very high here. So I doubt my enthusiasm will last to get me a $10 reward! In fact, if you go away for three months or more, you will find your balance is wiped, as you will find in the terms and conditions. Not sure if you find that particularly interesting... maybe you have a more exciting story to tell, about leaving and/ or coming back to myLot! WE ALL WANT TO KNOW!!! Oh, I just love mixing up the colours on the emotes - have noticed a few new ones too, since I've been away!...! wwxxwwxwxwxwxwxwxwx

You can do an awful lot of typing for your $10 and spend a lot of time too. Where it gets rewarding is when you get to know some of the people here. There have been some great friendships made on the lot. When I signed up, it was under a friend that I had met on Yuwie. Well he got into a war of words here or something, and got banned. And so I didn't really feel much like coming on here for a while. But I did, and I met some people who are really great, and who helped me (and are still helping me) through some tough times.

Yes, according to the guidelines of myLot, if you have gone away for three months or more, then your earnings will get lost without any notification. I guess this guideline is created to help people keep active on myLot. I am still a newer here on myLot so I never leave. Of course, I have no any plan to leave for another online community like myLot, that is all because I have benefited a lot from friends here. It is not your only intention to make money on myLot. In fact, you can also gain the latest news and the useful comments about these events.

Are you aware that we can now receive rewards when we use the myLot search? They boost up your earnings too: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq24.aspx I never leave. It seems I am here most days on and off so I can't tell you what it feels like to come back but I can tell you that even though it is only $10, it soon adds up. If you just let all those amounts pile up without touching them, I find it amazing that we earn for just talking among frineds from all over

I have not done much on mylot lately I have been doing maybe 1 or 2 posts a week just to keep the account active when I first started mylot I did 50 to 70 posts a day but just don't find I have the time to do that anymore. I have done quite a bit on here today though I am challangeing myself to do 50 posts I am curious how much you make now with that many posts I don't think it is as much as I used to get. I am enjoying being back though.

welcome back! happy to have you. i can understand your frustration concerning payout. mylot does involve a lot of work just to reach $10. And as you say you don't even get to see the full $10. Like I said, I understand. As for me, i've been here maybe a month or so. Haven't quite or at least yet lol. no jp, i'm really active here and i look forward to cashing out. All I need is $1.50 to do so. again welcome back!

Hello :) i've been here longer than month, but less than 2 months and i think i'm addicted For the 10$ and pounds ... I can tell you that for 1$ here you can buy only two normal breads :) That's it. So i can't wait to reach my first 10$ here. It's not really important for me, if i have to be honest. The first important thing was to reach 200 responses and to use emoticons, second will be to reach next start and 500 responses and the copy/paste benefit ... In future, we will see. Good luck

Welcome back to My Lot. I don't go on to My Lot in order to earn money. I participate in the discussions for my own enjoyment. I find the discussions interesting and I like my friends on My Lot. I know that My Lot has members from all around the world. $10 lasts longer in India than it does in the United Kingdom. If someone belongs to My Lot for many years the earnings mount up. I don't think it is worth leaving My Lot because it is so excellent. Some people have left My Lot and then come back so that is fortunate. If a member is busy it is still worth spending just ten to twenty minutes on My Lot rather than not go on to My Lot at all.
