So there is wisdom out here after all!! We all have the power to choose what we deem important in this world. We are the only ones who define success for ourselves. Can one really define success without kindness??? I can't. If you give everyone you meet love and kindness, if you help those you can and encourage those you can't, you will be a success regardless of how much money you make. If you refuse to do this, you will have my pity for you are truly blind. Great discussion.

I totally agree with your thoughts. Perhaps some of the lucky ones will be able live a life of kindness - those who have chosen to be kind even if it was very difficult at the start. Perhaps "kindness" could still make its way into business and politics. What do you think?

It's gets hard when people place greed for money and power over what a person is worth. Sometimes people must learn the hard way. This world would change before our eyes if people would be wise enough to place people first. Mankind is learning more and more everyday. In the distant future, mankind will come around. Long way to go however.

I did not agree because there are many faces of being successful. Not only in money matter we will call our life as successful but there are lot of things to be complete the life to be truly successful. Kindness is one of the attitude. If a person not move and do nothing how he can be successful. Kindness needs a lot of companion in order to be into that life. Thanks and have a nice day friend!

Perhaps if we can keep choosing to be kind, we will reach a new (invisible) level where we are always happy whatever happens. What do you think?

I would rather say that kindness is one way of making you happy. If you show kindness it will always come back to you. And by the way kindness should be given to everyone. True kindness is when you do kind actions to any person and in whatever circumstance. I know people who are only kind to those who are capable of returning the favor to them but with the beggar on the street they can never do the same kindness. Kindness is no respecter of person otherwise that is fake.

Perhaps it is possible that we can all earn to be unconditionally kind in all kinds of dealings and situations. What do you think?

I don't really agree that it is the only way. In most cases, there are a lot of good people who never really experienced success in life. But I do believe that the best feeling in the world is when you got successful knowing that you worked hard for it and respecting people along the way.

It seems the ultimate success is based on feeling good about ourselves. Perhaps at times, some people feel they are not successful because of what others think of them. What do you think?
