A lot of people enjoy drinking coffee without for a habit, some just drink it to make theme selves relaxed but some has already an addict to it. Coffee induced alertness for us to stay awake during over time. For every one to know coffee can cause a lot of especially kidney diseases like kidney failure inability of the kidney to function normally in out body and it can lead to death.... As early as possible try to minimize drinking coffee to avoid or to minimize the incidence of having a diseases that may lead to death.

I read somewhere that coffee has it's good effects on the health as well. It has anti-oxidant. I'm not not really sure though. Personally, I like drinking coffee but I drink only about 2 cups of in a day. Not even everyday. I love the smell of freshly made coffee.

...And it may cause someone to throw a chair across the room near their employees. I remember many years ago at a temp job when a supervisor did this act. He was not throwing at me. From the time I was there, he would drink many cups of coffee per day. He seemed nervous. When he threw the chair, I left and I did not come back. I moved on. Hope he's not throwing chairs anymore. I drank coffee for approximately one year and I had a bad cup one morning. I went cold turkey. Never had coffee again.

I drink decaf coffee most of the time. I occasionally will add some regular coffee to the decaf to help me wake up. I never drink coffee on the weekend. Some people ask me, "Why bother drinking coffee if you are not going to drink the one with caffiene?" I drink it because I like the taste and the smell.

Coffee is a good source of antioxidant and it has caffeine so it can make people stay awake. But also caffeine can cause palpitation in some people, it can make their heart beat fast. Coffee is a stimulant, so for some medical procedures like EEG coffee is being prohibited 12 hours before. It can cause Diuresis.. increase in urination for its diuretic effect so people are prone to develop dehydration if it is taken in excess. I guess, coffee is good just in minimal amount but too much coffee can cause problems in our body. As what they say, too much of something or anything in not good.

Coffee has lots of benefits its just that most people assume bad things about it when they know some are addicted to it. Coffee has lots of antioxidants more than that of tea, it can help control asthma, it helps in the prevention of Parkinson's disease, Type 2 Diabetes, and more. Anything in excess is bad of course. Did you know that caffeine is administered by hospitals for headaches?

From what i read, 3 cup of coffee a day is good for the health. Of course, anything taken in excess is bad. From what I read and i quote "A study in 2009 showed that those who consumed a moderate amount of coffee or tea (3 to 5 cups per day) at midlife were less likely to develop dementia and Alzheimer's disease in late life compared to those who drank little coffee or avoided it altogether. The presence of antioxidants in coffee has been shown to prevent free radicals from causing cell damage." It's okay to drink coffee in moderation. Balance your meals for healthy living.
