One of my office mate will resign to grab for a bigger opportunity. He's been with me from the start. He decided to leave his job because the other company he's going to pays a much higher salary with a very good incentives. Unlike on his present job that he only receives plain monthly salary and without an increase for almost 6 years. Of course I'm happy for him but part of me envied him because of the opportunity he had. What about you?

hi lexclark, I can understand your feeling. Maybe a sense of loss, then a little envy. Maybe you can ask your friend if there is another opening available in the new company. If not, it is always good to keep your options available for new possibilities.

yeah you're right, there's a sense of loss because we've been together since the company started and I have this sort of envy too.lol! This company is some sort of racist because they only accepts applicants with a chinese blood and I don't have even a single drop. But in any way I'm happy for him. Thanks for sharing!

I think it's perfectly natural for everyone to hurt for a higher paying job, since we ultimately want a greener pasture. That being said, I think I'll be very happy for my office mate. I will also pray that I would be given an opportunity that he received. Haha!

I actually feel sad especially if its my friend who is going to resign. I have 5 friends here in my company and one already quit. Others are planning to quit and I am also going to quit but I am just going to wait for the year to end. Anyway, one of the people I dont like here in the company is also quitting and I am excited that she's going to go away already. lol I am bad!
