Dubbing or original?

When it comes it watching movies, how would u like it to be? Hear their dialogue in the original language or being dubbed into your own language? My personal preference is being original. It does not matter if I don't understand what they are talking abt, but at least it sounds better than having funny accents from other voices talking on their behalf. It would be better if there's subtitle too so that I'm able to enjoy the movie more.

If the original is in English, there's no problem with that. I really don't want translations and dubbings as much as possible. This is because there are words you can't translate to other languages and there are thoughts which could only be best conveyed through the original language. The same idea presented in the original sentence could change in the translated version. Anyway, if it's in other language than English, then I think it would be ok if it would be dubbed in English or in my own language. Subs are also fine though.

Yeah absolutely agree!! Some words are meant to be in their original form and that brings out greater effect as compared to being dubbed in other languages.

Original with subtitles. But if it is English I won't need any subtitles most of the time I understand everything even slang and those bloody proverbs and saying native English speakers tend to use apparently to tick us off. The reason why a lot of people have problems learning English lies in the fact that everything is dubbed or they see no American shows whatsoever. You can't get familiar with a language you never hear!

Even if it's in English, I will need the subtitles as well because they are speaking way too fast for me to catch.
