I'm upset

As a kid I used to play Sonic 1 and 2 day in day out on my old Sega Mega drive. Recently I downloaded them again and fell in love again, so I decided to give the new games a go, this is why I'm upset! Sonic has now beomce a bit of a let down, but dont get me wrong, the originals are still the best :D

Please can you tell me where you downloaded them because I'd love to download it too. I love Sonic 1 and 2!
I've downloaded streets of rage, gunstar hero and monaco GP... I realized that as an 8yr old I was simply awesome on all of them, but now, as a 25yr old I'm pathetic. I've had to learn to play them again, and the experience has been nearly as enjoyable as the first time I picked up a Sega Mega drive controller.

on topic. I feel sonic is getting back to where he belongs. Unleashed was a step in the right direction, and Colors was an awesome return to form. Generations looks set to blow me away as well.
I've always loved sonic, and I think his time to shine is coming back. He was in Smash Bros. for crying out loud!!!!!
