I also have allergic rhinitis and it's really annoying since it attacks early morning when I am about to prepare for work, and then also in the evening when the time I have to rest. =( It also sucks since it makes my eyes watery and itchy too, I guess mine is worse than yours because even my ears seems to itch when I have that allergy attack. Unfortunately, I think there is no permanent cure for this, but to stay away from allergens and keep the surrounding dust-free. And when this allergy attacks, all we can do is to take anti-histamine for that, and unfortunately again, taking such medicines is not good for the kidney and makes us sleepy..=(

Hi there bluerain...
I am too suffer from allergic rhinitis. My allergies usually attacks when there is so much "dust in the wind". :)
Anyways, what do I do to prevent from such attacks from happening? I drink lots of vitamin-c. I don't know if you have Poten-Cee from where you live, but it helped me a lot to boost my immune system. You can also do some work outs to keep your body healthy.
I have also heard or read somewhere from the net that Bee Pollen is one good natural way to boost your immune system.
Just give any of my suggestions a try. I know something from it will definitely help you in your allergies.
