why aid other country when there is need of aid within?

Why developing country want to aid other country when they they same problem within, why they don't aid their own citizen then look for others instead they try to ignore them and seek for them at last.
What does it mean do they have enough money to help others, then why don't they try to build up their economy with such huge sum, why wasting it, why don't build good roads for its citizen where they are waling in mud they are providing good roads to other country, why they are hungry they are supplying good food to others for free, when they need education they are teaching good education at lowest price than their own.

I guess it is their way of creating a good relationship with other countries where in turn can be beneficial to their own country in the future...

It is my belief that we should take care of our own people first. I live in the United States, and I am not opposed to feeding the hungry and healing the sick and all that stuff, but I think we need to feed our own hungry and heal our own sick, and fix our own economy, and get our own people out of poverty before we start sending our money, food, medicine, and other resources all over the world...

You have a point. I also believe that before you help others, you must help yourself first. I mean, how can you help with others' problems when you have them and you can't do anything about them as well? But I don't think it would be cool if you know you could do something about others' problems and you don't do anything. I also don't think it's cool that you're being apathetic to other country's problems just because you're thinking that you have the same problem and you deal with it and they should deal with theirs.
For me, although it's good to improve yourself, I think it's better that countries help each other so that they would rise and improve their economies together. Plus, it would have a good impact on the countries' bonds and connections.
