The R.I.A.A. is butting its nose in your gizmos again. This time, it is trying to get the government to mandate all electronic gadgets including cell phones to come with F.M. radio. - I don't know what to think of this. Radio can come in handy in the case of emergency, telling you where to go if the brown and stinky hits the osculating and blowing. According to some articles, the chips that include radio only cost ten cents to insert, it is the copyrights (or copy-fights) that make radio expensive. - Yet, it is more government control over what goes into people's gizmos. Some want their phones dirt cheap, and do just one thing, make phone calls. They don't want their phones to do everything except make PB and J sandwiches. That's why the little Jitterbug phones are so popular, that and their huge buttons that are so easy to see. - Most people have radios coming out of their ears...literally. Many MP3 players already have the AM/FM tuners installed (and ignored). My little MP3 player does. - I personally use Shoutcast for my music fix, which is a form of Internet radio, as where I live getting FM or AM terrestrial broadcasts is an exercise in futility. I don't pay for satellite, I'm too cheap. - Your opinion?

I mostly ever listen to the radio in the car - and not much then, I was listening to it on my computer because the NPR station was running a show last week I enjoy. I don't really care that much for the music, I like the talking - but I hate talk radio, not so much the hosts, tho some of them bother me, but the stupid people that call in...

Oh yea, some of the callers can be pretty priceless. Although we've all done and said some pretty stupid things, some people are so consistent in the stupid... - Please, a video on Youtube showed people pointing at Australia and accusing that country of being both Iran and North Korea. Then they suggested we drop a nuke on the misidentified island continent. Priceless stupid. - I'm too tired to find it, but the "Chaser's War On Everything" filmed this wonder... It was sooo funny yet so sad.
