Would you like to live in a world of fantasy?

For some people, like me, the world is not enough. There is always something more that I like but they can only be real in my imagination. I think its called fantasy. I always wanted to be a ninja or a mythical character like god but that's just me and that is why its a fantasy because it is my idea. Maybe it came from watching too much cartoons when I was a kid, I'm not sure where it came from but still, I would enjoy it if it became real. Do you have fantasies? Do you care about other people's fantasies?

Everyone has been to their own fantasy world- I'm sure. Our minds are the real workaholics and we know that. It doesn't stop working- 24/7. Moreover, it is because of this fantasy world of ours that many inventions came to life. So, there is nothing wrong if let our imaginations go really- really wild but we MUST remember that we are living in real world.

LOL so you still stay in a fantasy world! no, I don’t stay in a fantasy world but many times, I’ve tried to think what it would be like if I lived the life of some other person. It need not be anybody rich or famous…maybe I’m just standing on the balcony and a cabbie has just come and parked his car below on the road, I’ll start thinking about what’s the life of a cabbie like…he goes to so many places and picks up so many different passengers … very childish indeed.

I don't stay in the fantasy world but I have memories of what I have fantasized about.

The only fantasy I have ever had is to be able to fly. Maybe this innate desire to be independent and free is what keeps me from wishing I could fly. I know there are thousands of us here who would wish we could fly, right? Well sometimes we really just need to focus on what's real and keep our feet on the ground, literally!

You need to be focused in reality all the time. You might get ran over by a quick moving vehicle, no one knows what is out there.

Fantasies are a good escape. We all need to release ourselves there sometimes. I would rather live in a world of reality than fantasy. It is a much healthier place to be. You can get control over somethings in a world of reality. There would be none in a world of fantasy.

Fantasies are imaginations unrestricted by reality. Well, fantasies are created by ourselves so you have control over what you are trying to do, whether you want to restrict the things you can control or not it's up to you. That's what I thought. I would love to live in a fantasy world of mine even for a few months.

...i am a manga writer..i used to write stories about the world beyond what our normal vision can see..a world of fantasy as you said...being in my own little world, i can pretend to be someone else, i have more freedom than what i have today..it makes me foolish, it makes me insane, it makes me greedy, but hey, they can't blame me, the world i created is far too cool than the real world..haha

I do have fantasies. I like to visit the fantasy world but I don't want to live in the fantasy world. I rather live in the reality world. The best thing about the reality world is you can learn new information in the reality world because what ever information you learned in the reality world you can implement it in the fantasy world.

That is right. I think most of our fantasies are formed by ideas we get from reality. I guess we can't have fantasies wouldn't be there if there is no reality. Do you care about other people's fantasies?

To tell you the truth, we are all living in a fantasy, whether you believe it or not. This world of ours and the earthly life that we are going through is real only relatively and therefor it is also unreal. For instance when we are born we are small babes, then we grow up as teenagers and then youth and then adults, then old age and finally die.We call this the gross world but when we sleep we enter into another dimension and that is the astral or dream world in which we become kings, sportsmen, monsters , anything. We create a world which is at once real as well as unreal. When we wake up the dreamworld vanishes and we are back in the gross world where everything is real, but impermanent.Yes we feel everyhing, experience everything but nothing is permanent. A king can become a pauper and a pauper can become a king.So we actually are living a fantasy in this earthly life.

Well, I never fantasized about nightmares that is a form of dream. Nightmares are scary and most people don't like it. Some people die from it, some become insomniac. Very few people have control over their dreams. Fantasy is our imagination that is unrestricted by reality. That is my definition of fantasy. Well, I can't really stop you if you call this reality your fantasy because everyone has their own. Have a nice day.

The world of fantasy is very cool to be in and I like to be there too but when it comes to the reality then I prefer to be in the real world as we are able to move on only in the real world.

Fantasy is imagination unrestricted by reality. You mean we can't move on in our fantasies? But don't we create our own fantasies and you can do everything there?

I would really love to live in fantasy. On the fantasy world, I am able to do things on my own. I can be who I really want to be. I can mingle with fairies. I can live happily ever after. :)) But we are in the world of reality. And we really have to face it. It is difficult to live in this world. But you just have to go on.

it would be great to live even for just a while in the place of my dreams. i would love to not be confined to the limitations of my physical body. i have a lot of whimsy in me, i love wings and wands and really colorful outfits that for some reason don't have matching footwear.

yes and no living there would be fine no worries and everthing paid for and having the money to pay for it and meeting the girl or boy of your dreams and living in the perfick house but i am afried that it does not work like that u come to earth with a bump and find that the money u have only goes so far and that is the only problem everthing else is luck and being in the right place at the right time.....

Well, my first choice would be my own mind, where I have created my own universe, but I don't think that counts. Any imaginary world? Oh man, that's tough. I'm going to assume that I would still be an average, every day person, so I'll be practical. Though, there are still a few I'd pick. One would be the Pokémon world. I could still live life as I normally do, but I could have a Pokémon companion or two. It'd be fun having Pokémon for companionship, especially because I'm by myself a lot. I'd probably choose an Eevee or a Tediursa. Also, I would LOVE to live in the world of Megaman NT Warrior/Rockman.EXE. It'd be really neat to have a net navi friend to talk to while I'm on the computer, help me with my homework, etc. Not to mention Net Battling. I think it would be lots of fun. I think it would also be fun to live in the Kingdom Hearts universe, Hollow Bastien and Twilight Town specifically. There are actually a LOT of other worlds/universes I would love to live in, but not as a regular person. For example, Krynn(Dragonlance), Gaia(Final Fantasy VII), the Naruto world, and many others. But as an average person, these worlds wouldn't be all that exciting.

I myself have my own strange fantasies, but I tend to keep it to myself but write about them! It's something about them that your mind and your soul just works together to create this strange world that nobody but yourself has imagined since everyones perception of things are quite different from one anothers. No two people are a like right? But it's best to write down your fantasies and perhaps one day turn it into a book? I do care about other people's fantasies since it gives me an idea on how their mind works and what the person is like. I always seen myself as this 'creature' far more different than the others around me .. the rest of what I was about to say would make me sound like a complete crazy person after. xD But hey, it's your life and your imagination, play around with it maybe when you got some free time on your hands go live out some of your fantasies. Speaking for living out fantasies, if your partner if you're attached to someone.. Why don't you help them live out theirs? ;) But if you're single, well.. Make the best of your life and do what you please as long as you feel very comforatable with it! Heck, I walk around the grocery store with a basket/bin thing with nylon straps for handles, and I would wear it like a backpack and say I'm a turtle! =) Just to make my parents mad and get the facepalm reactions. Fantasies are great.

I would love to live in a fantasy if it could only be real. I am big fan of elves so I like to be living in Elves World being the Queen of Elves. But as what you said, this could only be real in my imagination.

I have one fantasy that stays with me all the time. In it, I win aa enormous amount of money, and I build my dream home. I mean a real dream home, exactly as I with it to be. I've even searched the internet for house plans. It's fun, but I know it will never happen. It fills in the hours.
