There is a definite answer in the Bible, but let me first hear from you my Christians mylotters what is your opinion about it. Most religious denomination has it's own belief, like Roman Catholic says December 25, is it true or what is yours?

There are so many important things in the Bible that was taken out by those who translated it. The Bible is corrupted and we are not sure anymore if the vital information we need are still there. Anyway, I dont think that Christ's real birthday is December 25. I celebrate Christmas but his real birthday is not December 25.

Hello p3ks626, I don't agree that the Bible is corrupted, when it comes to faith, the Bible is a complete source, let us read in Isaiah 34:16 "Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for any mouth it hath commanded, and His spirit it hath gathered them." What we only have to do is to seek or search his words, and read.

i have never remember passing a verse in the Bible indicating a specific date as to when Christ the child was born.., so i am also puzzled why we celebrated Christmas on the 25th of December.., i asked my dad once and he said that it was not written in the Bible too.., =)

The Hebrew calendar or Jewish calendar is a lunisolar calendar used by Jews. Hebrew calendar's year is longer by about 6 minutes and 25+25/57 seconds than the present-day mean solar year, so that every 224 years, the Hebrew calendar will fall a full day behind the modern fixed solar year, and about every 231 years it will fall a full day behind the Gregorian calendar year. If Bible had a fix Jesus date of birth as 25th of December it would by now be at least 10 to 12 days behind by now. Moreover, December was not the 12th month, but earlier it was 10th month. It was shifted to present 12th position because Julius Caesar an Caesar Augustus had included two more months July and August after their names in the present Calendar. Under this sort of controversies, it is difficult to determine the exact date of birth of Jesus Christ.
