Can you imagine waiting nine years for your power company to turn your power back on for NINE years?
That's exactly what this village in Pilibhit district has had to endure after its main transformer developed a snag in 2001. Pilibhit is the parliamentary constituency of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Varun Gandhi.

do you think you and your family could survive?

that's weird, that's like nine years of medieval ages. besides, there's no power, there's no technology disturbance.

I am not surprised at all, such incidents are very common in my state, even in my city, once the transformer is burnt it may takes days to get replaced, they replace very cheap type, that burns again.
