They got what they wanted, what now?

I kidnapped you for ransom and I already got what i wanted, what will you do to stop me from killing you? You are taped, tied, and stuck at my basement.
This one of the worst case scenario that I have in mind. It's one of those "if you were in my situation what would you do?" kind of thing. I don't really know what to do if I was in this situation. Maybe I'll pray.

I'll also pray. 
And I'll try to be as apathetic as possible to whatever I might experience like pain, psychological torture, etc. I'll also show no fear to my captor because, I believe, at least I have not given him the satisfaction he wants from his captives: fear and panic.

I believe most of these kidnappers are just for the money. When they get it they will want to dispose you so there would be no witness or evidence left.

That's true, but I believe they already have a psychological problem to resort to kidnapping. Anyhow, yeah they'll kill you anyway if they get the money, that's why authorities don't want to give in to their demands because they know that's what kidnappers would do.

Praying doesn't do anything. The truth is there is nothing I can do to stop you from killing me if I am taped, tied, and stuck in the basement. After you get what you want you can kill the hostage if you want. You don't have an obligation. If you kill the hostage then someone is most likely want to kill you so they can get revenge. Now you have to come up with a way to stop that from happening if you want to remain alive and unharmed.
