Where do you belong?

We have 3 categories of life styles which we have been enjoying. Who would be the happiest among of them? where do you belong?
1. Happiness Through popularity and political power.
2. Happiness by restricting your personal desire and by living in accordance of one's religion like Priest, Nun, And Monks.
3.Happiness through satisfaction by having 3 square meals a day, a car, a home, enough money for the family and health.

Would choose number 3 too. Although I don´t eat that much a day
at least not all the time.
Having a Home is most important for everyone no matter what sort of Home it is.
Health is also very important and it reflects in our Health if we are happy and contented too I think so at least.
Having a Car is a must sometimes as with all the Strikes going on how on earth do you get to work when you live miles away from your Job. I think a Car is a must to be happy and so you can get to your Job get paid and feed your Family. Simple as that.

In my situation right now, I would say I don't belong to any of those, too close for 3 but I don't have my own car, I just ride to a public transport, I just live the simplest life but happy with the family I have. But who would not wish for a more happy life if we can have it....If I were to choose any of those you mentioned, I would definitely ask for a combination of those 3 choices you mentioned, a popularity, a life surrounded with a strong spiritual belief and achieving a life living with the necessary needs with luxurious things.......But life isn't that perfect so the best way is to be satisfied with the life we have and try to work hard to achieve our dreams....

I come under category three..
I'm very much contended with what i have..
I'm not looking for any fame or something like that..
i just enjoy with what i have and i'm not expecting high which is above my level in any circumstances!!!

I am both one and three. It's a natural tendency for a person with talent and skills to desire something higher. It is natural for us to want more, and be recognized, and become significant to the world we live in. But we are always reminded by the lessons taught by our moral teachers to live simple life to neutralize our desire for power and fame. I guess, I am both 1 & 3, being pulled sideways, and remains in the middle of them.

I would have to say that 3 would probably be the happiest. However 2 would most likely have the most fulfilling life. I would be more 3, but somewhat 2 even though I don't really have a religion. 1's life would be superficial and false, and one day they would realize that, but it would take a very long time and many nights wondering what's missing in their life.
