I don't think that marriage is based on age,yet I don't believe that marrying young is ok.I believe marrying young doesn't last long.if you marry young, you will not have enough time to enjoy your freedom and pursue your dreams.it is bound for resentment and disappointment.I would rather marry at 40s when I am fully ready, than marry during my 20s but pressured and full of discontentment.

Probably, for a guy, it's 32-40, and for a woman, it's 28-32... Anyway, this is just my personal opinion... =)

thanks for your opinion malquise... 40 is ok for a guy for that age they were already mature enough... 28 for a girl for them to look for a better man :D

What it should be is 16 or above but it seems that relationships get serious at a tender age here in the Philippines, though the children born from non-traditional marriages often have only one parent or family members caring for them. Are there statistics to show I'm out of bounds or correct in my statement above? Eric

That's good to hear! how old is Sam by the way ;) Don't you think it is inappropriate for some couples younger than you to refer to their partners as their "husbands"; i mean to suggest that it sort of sends a green light to having kids at such a young age and sort of tricks their minds into thinking that they are ready to commit to one guy or girl diba? I think as long as you can live together with your partner and ready for responsibility you can marry as young as you can be.

I don't have a single clue. but according to the law ( i think) you can get marry at the age of 18 and above. people who married at young age, cause to argue a lot because of lack in maturity to relationship. but unfortunately i haven't the person for me. age won't matter, but appropriate time and preparedness isis more important. even if they got married at the age of 30+ but what if they are not ready.

Hi graciouz193 I think mid 20's is ok as marrying age because both are already matured and are able to take on the responsibilities of being married.

According to the lectures of Barangay Health Workers and as recommended by DOH its 25 years old, both for male and female. According to them in this age you are physically and mentally mature.

I think it will be 30 years old for both male and female. The reason why some families don't have a chance to improve their financial situations. When parents work hard to send their son and daughters to school and before they even finish school they already get married. They should help their parents and other siblings before getting married. When people marry too young they will likely end to have a poor family. So it's better that they will marry when they are emotionally and financially stable already. And 30 years old is a perfect age for marrying.

I don't think that there is an appropriate age when it comes to marriage. What we have though is appropriate time. The appropriate time for marriage is when both parties are ready - physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually. But just to answer your question. I think around 25 is my prefer age for marriage, provided that you were able to enjoy your "single" days prior to that.

i think there is no exact age for marriage. as long as the couple are stable,, have stable job, have their own house and a stable relationship.. then go!see for blessing and get married!^^
