i have a friend who flies to UK just this morning. i will surely be missing her. she's one of a kind and we have our unique friendship. her family had always been with us through thick and thin. my husband and i went with her and her family at the airport.i didn't show any tear but when we part already i felt empty. this is what i hate about farewells. thanks to FB for we can still communicate with each other.what's your experience about farewells? No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth. ~Robert Southey

Me too. I hate farewells. Especially if you have been with that person everyday for years. You will surely miss his/her presence. But that's reality. You cannot have everything you want. You have to live on your own.

yeah. good friends are worth missing for. we can't really have both worlds. sometimes we need to sacrifice to achieve greater stuffs.

I guess saying goodbye to our friend or even loved-ones is really hard because it is like we have to leave them for the rest of our live although they will say that only for a couple of years but the presence of one another is what is important. I am so glad that the communication now is very easy because of the internet and we reach our friend all around the world even they are far from from us. So don't be too sad of farewell, i don't like it but sometimes it really happens.
