We are always reminded by the Discovery Channel commercial to conserve water because supply is truly limited... is this really true... The natural sources includes the water table from the aquifers, spring water, and rain.. however, recent advances have developed ways of extracting pure drinking water from none potable sources like sea water.. the process is geared towards removing the salt from water or desalinizing process... We have developed vapor catching device which condenses water from thin air... With the way things are, I don't really see the need to panic at the supply of pure water... What do you think about this? What are your thoughts and comments on this? Is water supply really limited?

It's only half true. We need more water now than ever before due to our growing urban population. Weather patterns change over time placing potable water in different places. It may rain over the ocean, dumping the water in the sea, or over South America or Africa, but the amount of water on the globe is and always will be the same. Using desalinized sea water is a great way to have all the water we can possibly want. It's expensive, but it's water.

I think we don't have much supply of potable water that is why we have to conserve and recycle water for the future generation.

Yes, I agree potable water supply is getting scanty. It follows the law of supply and demand.Potable water is now more expensive than petrol or diesel
