A stupid question

Am I the only one annoyed at the stupid question mark avatar rotating for this category? Even if I'm not looking at this particular category, its still at the top of most pages as it's a popular category with a lot of activity. I find it extremely distracting and annoying. What say you?

Yes, even i am a bit annoyed about that question mark. It is damn irritating man.

It drives me crazy! I know people with ADD or ADHD probably have a worse time with it.

You said it! That's why I changed it to one of the other choices for the category. I just woke up so can't remember how I did it, though, probably went to the category page... The other thing you can do is hit the ESC key to at least stop it from spinning. That usuallly works, but you'll have to do it each time.

So, which one did you change it to? (I've got mine set to the one with a black background and the word questions over a static white question mark.)

The escape key works great! Even if I don't mind the red question mark's spinning, it really bothers me some users' animated avatars. Thanks to your advice, now I can stop the animation and read the discussion in peace.

Hai Ldyjarhead! I have been away for quite some time now! as I did not have internet access at home. Now that I've got one, I'll stay connected! Any way you right it does annoys you. Firstly because it is not a well designed avatar and secondly because it is eye catching as it moves. Though on lighter side I see one moving on this very discussion as well!

I think the question mark fits this category. Its question and answer and I can't think of any better avatar or symbol than question mark. Its not really annoying. Hmm maybe you can suggest to mylot a better avatar. I'm sure they will consider it.

Um, hello? Where did I say that the question mark was annoying? I said that the ROTATING question mark was annoying. The movement, not the question mark.
