Do you play Carromboard?

Carrom is one of my favorite game, now-a-days, I have once again started playing carrom and as much as I play, I like it more, everytime, when you hit a coin and it goes to the pocket the feeling can not be explained. Though I am playing carromboard from last 10-12 years, I have a few questions? Do you know any of the strategies while playing carrom board? Which coins are good (plastic or woodden)? previously I used to play with plastic coins and now I use old woodden coin and I like the woodden coins a lot. How good do you think you are in carrom?
