Plot hole in naruto?

Hey all I have been watching naruto, and i have just finished the episode when orochimaru just did the soul exchange jutsi from his body (with the non-working hands thanks to the 3rd hokage) into a vessel. But now his hands work. But i thought that the reaper took part of his soul out of him. Surely that would mean that no matter what, he cant move his hands? Hmm... im not sure
