Do Indian Member of Parliaments deserv a hike in their salart?

i feel its totally absurd.a hike from 16000 bucks to 50,000 bucks is totally absurd.a country where people still dont have the basic amenities,still such a big percentage of people live below poverty line.How could the leaders ask for a hike?what do you people think?

I am not from India by the way. So my opinion is merely of what I see on TV or videos about the way of living in most people there in India. 16,000 to 50,000 is very absurd. Haven't they considered putting the funds for the people instead of keeping it for their own? I know that Poverty is increasing in India so they should be alleviating it rather than focusing on how much money could they get. That's too unfair. I certainly disagree with the wage hike. No way.
