Could You Just Look At A Player In Baseball and Know They Were Taking Steroids?

I usually don't watch baseball but I could really tell some of the major homerun hitters did drugs even if they denied it. If you were to look at Mark McGwire his rookie season and compare him to when he was breaking homerun records the size is overwhelming to easily make up my mind. The same thing is true for Barry Bonds who still hasn't came forward and spilled the beans. If I remember correctly Barry Bonds gained 40lbs in the off-season before he came back and broke the single season homerun record. You think hes going to let himself go like that and get fat being a professional athlete. I don't think so. He was gaining muscle with steroids. A few seasons later Bonds said he needed to lose the weight to take the pressure off his knees right when MLB started their strict drug policies, lol whatever.

hi elmiko yes I think I could as most people on steriods get puffy
faces and gain weight too.even people who are on them for health
reasons.I love baseball and hate to see these really great players
go on steriods its so dumb. I was on steriods for a week because'
I had hives on my leg and they almost killed me as I am a diabetic
and they sound my blood glucose level way way too high and also
my blood pressure so I ended up in the ER with dangerously high
blood sugar and blood presure readings. they worked hard to get
me back down to normal blood pressure and blood glucose levels.'they
kept
asking me questions to see if I was going to have a stroke. these atheletes are risking heart problems sooner or later.

Yes, gaining a significant amount of weight like you described with McGwire certainly raises a red flag.
Another indicator is by how aggressive these guys become. Steriods increases aggression and rage.
These may be inconclusive in themselves but they tend to point to the writing on the wall.
