How Good or How Bad Is Your Boss?

I love my boss because he's always been very supportive of us and he looks after the team very well. He treats us to coffee, yoghurt, chips, chinese food, and other treats at times. We also maintain open communication with each other. I've heard bosses from hell, too, but I'm glad my boss isn't one of them.
How about you? Do you love your boss? Or do you hate him/her.

I definitely don't hate my boss, with the first job I have (a clerk at a dry cleaners, pretty much.) I have been here for 3 years, and the FIRST boss I had with this company was totally crazy (her name was Andrea). She always left me almost all of her work to do, she was just kind of rude and *itchy, and did a lot of bad stuff (and told me about it later). I even got complaints about her from customers, about how rude she was with them! Then, I got this second amazing boss named Pat (once Andrea was fired) and she is the sweetest thing ever! Responsible, caring, hard-working: everything that my old boss was not. It's a nice change, to not hate your boss!
Luckily I'm not in a position where I hate my boss, any of my bosses. It helps you work harder, be more efficient, and moreso enjoy what you do!

I know what you mean! Some bosses do not know how to motivate their people. Some don't just get it that we will get the job done given the right amount of motivation, not negative reinforcement. Lucky for you, you now have a good boss. It feels good to work and have ample space and not have some rude boss stifling you with orders and what not.

My boss has a different nationality from us, so there are differences with the culture and tradition. With these reasons they are a lot of issues that he can't understand because of these differences. But rest assured all our benefits were given and the working environment is quite fine. I hope there won't be any big problems in the future so that I can stay here longer.

I don't like my boss,but can't go so far as to hate him.My boss is kind of yellow-belly.he doesn't take his responsibility,maybe he doesnn't want or maybe he doesn't dare.You are lucky guy,32F.You have a good boss.My boss just sucks.

So sorry to hear that. I know some bosses are just difficult. The previous one I had was a nitpicker. I didn't like him because he likes to find fault in people. He also does not know how to defend his team to others. And yes, he assigns tons of work to people. He calls it delegation. We called it quits.
