During this tough economic time, people absolutely need work and money to sustain their living. Many freelancers complained about they done work without getting pay from those immoral employers. One of these freelancers finally fed up with it, and he stood up and start this website called "theydidntpay.com". You can check it out and if you are one of those victims too, you can post your comments and link to warn others. It is pretty helpful information to other people. That is what we need, we honor our work, and the employers should honor their commitments.

It is quite disheartening when you give quality work and you are not paid. I just recently started useing the internet as a freelancer, and two week ago i did some article rewrites for a guy from out of India, he told me seven days to get paid as soon as my articles were checked out. I know so far that they have all checked out because he told me this, but he is yet to pay me for the work! I tell you this, I have truly learned a couple of lessons from this experience and one of them is to never work with anyone from India again!

Well, some employers just taking advantage of it, and they want free works. That is not a moral, or ethical practices. They should know better other people need to make a living too.

indeed it is immoral for these types of employers to treat these freelancers who are doing their best to earn side incomes through internet. Many of these freelancers spend hours on their works and they get nothing in return because these unscrupulous employers wants to get all the money for others' hard work.
i think it's high time that somebody had stood up to renounce these employers. May this be a turning point for those who wishes to follow the same path and choose not to honor their commitments.
Whoever had the guts to initially put up that website deserves a long round of applause. More power.

Yes, it is disheartening for a lot of people who actually did undergo this kind of treatment from their employers because the employees did work hard for them. I hope there are still many honest employers out there who will take good care of freelancers like they do their regulars.
