IMDB Top 250

I set myself the task at the start of the year to work my way through the top 250, and so far I've watched 150 out of the current top 250, not all of them watched this year. Touch wood by the end of the year I will have reached the 200 mark and complete it by next year. Whilst I agree with the majority of the movies on there, the fact that so many new movies appear thanks to over enthusiastic fans who don't know what a great movie is makes it a bit of a joke. For example "Toy Story 3", it may be a good movie but is it really deserving of being at position 12 above the likes of Casblanca, Goodfellas and Psycho. For me it doesn't which makes the imdb top 250 a bit of a flawed list.

I think I have watch half of them, these are really awesome movie which I don't mind to watch 2nd times if have time. Shawshank Redemption is number one movie, which I can't agree more, a Stephen King master piece which well filmed, my all time favorite.

I've watched a good part of them.Some are really great, some are my all time favorites.I think they deserve to be in the IMDB top 250.At least 90% of them.I enjoyed watching Once Upon a Time in America and Casino with De Niro.Can't imagine that list without Hitchcock's Psycho and Vertigo,and Green Mile,and The Shawshank Redemption, and historical dramas like Gladiator,Spartacus.Pan's Labyrinth is worth watching too.Well, you won't lose anything if you watch the entire list.I would even add more movies to this list, I think there should be IMDB top 500 for the full picture of what is best in the cinema.

Ive seen around 126 movies out of 250 so far, Most of them are simply brilliant .Only one movie i found overrated is Once upon a time in west,though i am ab ig fan of Sergio leone and i really love his movies .
