I think it depends on what kind of aid is given. The rich nations should provide Emergency Aid to the poorer countries. One of the factors which cause the poverty in most of the poor countries is natural disasters. Emergency aid are provided for the countries to save lives as soon as possible.

Aid in the form of medical, food, water and building material, the richer countries should continue. But if it is monetary, then I think they should stop. There is the possibility of corrupted officials taking the donated money for themselves.

This is my big problem with donating to different charities. It is so hard to know if the money is actually going to help struggling individuals. In many "poor" countries, the government officials live rich lavish lives because they are living off of and stealing from the poor. It is better to get involved with an organization that will actually go and build a well or a school than one that just throws money at the problem.

No we should keep giving them aid. Since we are a rich country (here in the Canada and USA) we have enough to go around. We shouldn't be greedy we should share the wealth. There are people in poor countries that don't even have food to eat. While here if your homeless you can just go to a shelter and get a free meal.

Here Agree With you brother , it`s definitely depend on what aid it is for. to add education shpuld also be listed as national disaster because with low quality of education the poorer country will always remain poor.

i agree that with low quality of education the poorer country will always remain poor. However, the problem is that even the rich country provide money to improve the education system , the limited amount of money can only help maybe one generation, the mindset of the whole population in the country cannot be changed due to the one generation. most of them may still think studying is useless. and the root of the problem is whether the government is willing to improve the education system and whether it has the ability to improve the education system.
