Do You Understand Enl=glish Movies Directly Or Use Subtitles??

I usually don't use subtitles when I watch movies, especially if it's the first time I'm seeing the movie. If it's my second or third (or 4th, etc) time watching the movie, sometimes I put the subtitles on to see if I didn't catch something the first time I watched it.

i am better at it than my mother tongue.

I don't need subs and English isn't my first language. i understand just about everything but i have to download subs for my gf or friends.

I understand English perfectly well. I just turn on the subtitles out of habit. And there are some dialogues which are not dubbed clearly that's really hard to discern what they are, most especially if they're crucial to the plot. Anyway, if the movie doesn't come with a subtitle, it's alright. I just watch it two times to better appreciate the movie. Oh, and one more thing. I also usually turn on the subtitles whenever I'm lazy to listen to the dialogues. I just want to read the lines and watch the action.

English isn't my first language but i never use subtitels. I understand English quit good so enjoy waching film instead of reading subtitles.

I also speak English as my major language, so I do understand movies in English. However, when I was younger, I used to enjoy watching Indian movies that were subtitled in Hindi! This was how I came to learn some Hindi. My alltime favorite actress is Hema Malini and some of my favorite actors are Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra.

I don't undersand the dialogues,because english isn't my language ha ha ha.And if I want to see a movie,I want to understand it too lol!I use subtitles always and when I write in english,my daughter help me ha ha ha(she speack english better than me!) All the best,Deepak!
