A classy move by a classy manager. Good luck to you Lou, tho I can't shake the feeling he'll be back in baseball in some form, probably after his mother passes (which we hope will be many years down the road).

I agree, Sweet Lou has his priorities right. He has managed some great teams, although I'm sure he would have loved to have been the manager to break the Cub curse of not winning a title in about 100 years. The city of Cincinnati will always be greatful for the 1990 world series title.

It would of been nice for Seet Lou to break the Cubbies World Series curse! I hope the Cubs break it someday soon! they are long over due! I know the Cincinnati Reds are very happy for Lou for bringing them the 1990 World Series Tile!
