I just started reading them about a year ago. I'm a member of the Harlequin Ambassadors program, and they sent me a free ebook. Since then, I have downloaded more ebooks to my computer. Plus, I bought a nook, Barnes and Noble's Ebook reader, and have a bunch on there. It wil save me a lot of space in my room, too.

I received an Amazon Kindle for the holidays last year and I love it.
I love the convenience of it. Can keep it in my purse and if I am waiting at a doctors appointment, I never have to be bored with all the old magazines they have in there. It is nice always to have a book to read right at my fingertips. I am a big fan of these type of devices.

Yes, I read ebooks as well. I started reading them 2 years ago, I guess. I'm still into hard copies because I can bring them anywhere but since I am in front of the computer more than 9 hours everyday, I might as well read ebooks instead. I also have a lot of ebooks stored in the desktop that I use here in the office and in my email.

I am not actually a fan of reading books but whenever there is interesting part then that is the time that I am going to buy that book and read it. The image below is the content of the book about Michael Phelps on how he succeeded in Olympics. However I haven't done it because sometimes I am really lazy in reading books.

Yup. I was influenced by my friend who owns a lot of ebooks. She said that they're cool to read and that I should try ereading since I'm always in front of my laptop. Come to think of it, she marketed it well. She was like, 'You like surfing the net and read at the same time right? Why not try reading ebooks while doing what you do online?' And I was like, she's right. So that's how I got terribly influenced by my friend.
Anyway, I agree with you that it will indeed save a lot of space. And although I'm into ereading now, I still prefer hard monographs over online ones.

I read a lot of ebooks. I started when I was having problems seeing because of cataracts, and reading on the computer was easier than trying to read print. For the people who think that it's too expensive, there are a lot of free ebooks that can be downloaded legally without paying for them. And some ebooks that you pay for are much cheaper than print books. My favorite site is Feedbooks, and I've found a lot of very good books there. I don't really have any more room for books in my apartment, so it's nice to be able to store some of them on my computer. Lots more room there.
I'm planning to buy a Nook, but I'm waiting for the price to come down a little more. You can get one for $150.00 now, but I hope the price will come down to $100.00. Maybe in time for Christmas.

Yes, I read ebooks. They're so convenient. Sometimes I even read them from my phone. But, nothing beats the fresh smell of a new book, or the musty smell of an old one, so I still read the actual book.
