I was a lazy, laid back student. I don't study and don't copy notes unless it has some points. I'm the type of student who go to school as early as possible just to copy assignments from my classmates. I don't bring books even if I have one (I'm borrowing from other sections). I'm the type of student who make little notes and use it during examination instead of studying. Basically I'm a cheater! I copy answers and assignments. For hard projects, I will pay someone to do it for me. For group works, I don't suggest ideas - a typical free rider. I'm the type of student who can be happy just by getting a passing mark. But despite of my dark side as a student, my professors like me. Because I don't skip classes, I always have assignments/projects, I participate by raising my hand and answering questions (oral or board work - but I always ask answer first from my classmates). So my professors thinks that I'm a goody-goody student which made them like me. Yes, I was a worst student. The only good thing I've done was to listen to my professor's discussion. Yes, I'm a cheater and don't take down notes but I see to it that I listen and understand my prof's discussion - there are times that I can't cheat.

To be honest , it all depended on the teacher and the subject. One year I was finishing the sentences of my history teacher on the first day. I got a B in that class. But then there was science class. I really could care less about science so even though the teacher was nice, I failed the class.

It has been a while since I last studied. Four years ago I did a freelance journalism course and that was the first time I had done any studying in over thirty years! I used to be a very good student when I first started at school until I got ripped out of school in Italy to move to Australia where I was placed in an ordinary classroom although I didn’t speak the language. My confidence took a beating and it took me many years to gain it back.

Hi abj163, At least you are being honest about who you are. I too was just an average student in high school, but when I matured and went to college, I took my grade more seriously. I am back in college, first class was last Saturday. I am a senior at the local university and my GPA is 3.9. I think maybe I am more serious because I have to pay for the classes and have not time to fool around. However, I no longer want to be just average because I don't give by studies more attention, so I am more focused.

In my school I was an average student till my tenth class. In my 11th and 12th I got interested in studies and started scoring more marks. Used to be among the top five in my class. But in college again, I became an average performer. Like you, I used to study only when there are exams.

I was a black sheep type of student. The one who skip classes and noisy in class. I've spent more than 4 years in college because of that. But no regret because I enjoyed every part of my college life.

hi abj I went back to college in my thirties and in my fifties and I was a very good student as I have a photographic memory. I studied hard for some days befor the exams and aced them as I could see the answers that I had written down in my notebook even thought the notebook was at my home. I had a four point pga and in the U of Ca at Irvine Ca I grad uated with a 3 point gpa so I did okay for myself.

I'm an average student too. I study when I have exams. I copy on my classmates too, well they copy my answers too, so I guess that's fair.lol. But I always attend class, I do my assignments too. I always write notes too, so when exams came, I always have something to review.

I was am still am the kind of student that skips alot of classes and doesnt actually care about what's going on in class, but when we do have an exam i do get pretty good grades. That is probably why i didnt lose this year.

I always did well in elementary school, slacked off in grades 9 and 10, and then became more focused after that. I ended up receiving a large scholarship from my University in my first year due to my grades. Learning is very important to me, and as I am paying a lot of money for my schooling, I try to get the most out of it.

I think I belong to the group of weirdo and brainy students in my high school days. I focused a lot on my studies, taking every subject, projects ant homework seriously. Though I miss some of the happy moments, I have no regret. I graduated with honor and merits. ;)

I was a goodie-two-shoe back in grade school and high school. I eased up in college and joined organizations and parties. I think it helped because I'm serious to a certain degree and I also know how to have fun to a certain degree. I guess I'm more flexible now because of that. I'm not really ashamed to admit I was a nerd when I was a kid because right now I turn nerd-mode when I analyze my projects and stuff at work.
