Upload photo failed

I have experienced failed to upload photos several times both when started discussions and respond to discussions. I try to find out the solution for my problem in FAQs first instead of asking in discussion. I found the solution here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq10.aspx#5. I have followed all the requirement but still couldn't load it. I didn't understand, even though the file size is less than 5 MB (the size is under 200 kb) and file extension were .jpg.
Is file dimensions (pixel)affected? Does anyone of you understand about this: After you upload the file, we compress the file further to a max of 256k. If the compression fails, the upload fails completely.

I thought it was just me even if I had followed the guidelines but realized there are others too. I would normally try and try again although I must say most times I would rather do something else instead. Usually things would be back to normal after a while without being able to find out what has happened. This happens quite a lot with my photo uploading and pm. Hope through post we'll get to know better about some of the features here in myLot. And thanks for that!

I hope the admin read our discussion here and forward it to IT staff to help us out off this problem or at least give us the explanation why this could happen. In other site, normally we couldn't upload pictures or photos due to internet connection problem and the pictures couldn't loaded at all. But here is bit different. We can't upload pictures or photos even when the internet connection is normal. I think the problem is really in the web itself. Thanks for responding my discussion tomi. Have a nice day .

I had some problems last week uploading pictures onto here, I was getting very annoyed about it, I kept changing the picture size and it still mde no difference .
I tried the same photos an hour or so later and they worked, so I think the site perhaps has the occasionl glitch with uploading photos.I'd advise that you try again later.

I think so. When I failed upload photo, there will be error message with red text. However, I didn't remember the error message. I think there a little problem with mylot web. Sometimes I found my photos successfully loaded but when I submit my post it disappear. It wouldn't attached below of my post. This problem usually happen when I trapped in worst internet connection. well i have also a problem with upload before but i usually just try it again.

Well, I think the only we can do now is try it again in few minutes later. I think the problem is in their web script or their server maybe overloaded. If there are too many post at the same time, the problem may occur. Do you think that sometimes we access mylot hardly even though we don't have a problem with our internet connection? If the problem due to server overload, perhaps it's the right time to change it with the new one with higher performance
