Most of people use Yahoo Answers for getting dofollow backlinks. You can get backlinks for your blog or website by putting your website url on any of the answer you write. But Yohoo will terminate your account if you use Yahoo Answers only for creating backlinks for your site. Make sure write more answers without giving any backlinks, for best practice create a backlink for every 10 answers you post. Do spam the yahoo answers but inrellavent answers and putting more and more backlinks, Once you are found spamming then whatever you did will be earased from yahoo answers.

well its a question and answer site and its useful if you have a couple of questions you want to be answered. (i also use them a lot) and like the other poster above, you can add your link on related questions that corresponds to your online business. ( i will also do this but i dont have the time recently.)
